Wade's story is amazing. What he's achieved at such a young age is inspiring.
I remember seeing bits and pieces of Wades story in the media over the years..... The little boy dancing like Michael Jackson and his success in being in a bunch of Michael's film clips... Like Black and White... And Bad... I was athome on the Gold Coast when I read a story in the paper... A now grown up Wade and his latest success in working with names like Britney Spears and N'Sync.... The story said his was back home and looking forward to learning how to surf...
I rang the paper and asked to speak with the reporter who wrote the story.... She gave me the details of Wades Grandmother and so I rang and left a message... The next day my phone rang and it was Wades mother returning my enquiry.... I told her about TheWebShow and what I'm trying to do with it.... And I told her that I could organize a surf lesson for Wade... And a free surfboard if we could meet up and film an interview beforehand.... She agreed and so a day or two later we all met up at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast and we sat down to capture some of his amazing story.... Here's part 1 :)

I remember sitting there and being blown away.... For some reason the Australian media hadn't promoted any of his success.... Yet here's this young Aussie.... Working in the entertainment field and not only working with some of the biggest names in the world.... He's creating for them... Directing for them.... And at the time he's just out of his teens... Unbelievable.... Oh and if you're wondering why we're sitting on a blow up couch on the beach?
My idea for TheWebShow at that time was The Magic Couch... I wanted to take iteverywhere and just blow it up and sit and film... Kind of hard to do when you make a show by yourself :) Hope you enjoy part 2 of a very inspiring story... And I should thank surfboard shaper Nev Hyman for organising a surf lesson and giving Wade a brand new board.
