Ahhh a funny day... Leaving Brisbane at midday... Arriving in LA at 7am Friday morning... My friend Lisa forgot to pick me up... Got a Shuttle to Vinny's place... Caught up with Vin and Donnie.. Ate some of Vinny's awesome tuna salad... Jumped in a cab over to Barry's place.. Grabbed my camera and filmed the following.

We struck up a conversation and you can see the results in the clip below :) ... If you see the end of the clip then how awesome is Jesus outside belting his lungs out... Great song too :)
Day 2 In LA - 17th of JAN 2008
Happy New Year everyone... Hope all's rocking for you. I'll be taking off for the States this weekend and filming as many interviews as I can for TheWebShow... It'll be LA and NY and then back to London and the UK where I haven't been since 2004... Can't wait :) So if you know some people in these places you think would be cool for TheWebShow just hit me up with an email... I love all kinds of stories :)
I'll be spending the first chunk of time in LA with Barry, Vinny and the usual gang... Love those guys... I met Barry by chance last October and this time he's coming with me for some random adventures... Can't wait to see how it'll all pan out.. But here's a clip from late last year... In LA - 19th of Jan 2008
So I've arrived in LA.. Smashed with a head cold and made my way to Vinny's place in West Hollywood.. I'm actually staying with Barry Weiss this time out... We met late last year in a pretty random way.. I stopped into Vinny's to say hello and ended up sleeping on his couch for the afternoon... Vinny made some dinner and I jumped in a cab over to Barry's place in Los Feliz.. From here I was pretty tired but I grabbed the camera and we headed out for our first adventure.. Here's what happened :)

So day 2 in LA was a bit of a Write-off... It was so cold the night before and I've just flown in from sunny Queensland... I basically slept all day and as night time rolled around Barry said "Hey lets go to the SuperCross in Anaheim"... His friends Reed (Who had a small role in Pretty Women) and Shaun came over and we jumped in the car... A funny story in trying to get in but here's a short clip from the night :)
Day 3 in LA
It's been a fun few days that's for sure.. Even though I've been battling the flu and lack of sleep it's been the usual crazy adventure. Today Barry took the Hotrod out for a spin and you can see some of the action below.. Tomorrow we'll be filming with an amazing artist named Baron Margo so that should be super cool.. But here's the clip for today :)
Day 4 in LA pt 1 - Paul Gale Crazy Call
So a good laugh with Emily... Make sure you click her link in my friends section.. She's doing some rocking things.. The big challenge was now Paul Gale.. We used to work together in radio and he's one of the best "Gotcha call people or Crazy Call" people in radio.. They're so funny and you can hear them on the Sea Fm Website... I gave Barry some notes.. We dialled the number and part two of the nights footage is below :)
Day 4 in LA pt 2 - Paul Gale Crazy Call
What a classic day.. I slept in till 3pm from a rather crazy night.. Could almost write a book about it.. Trust me :).. So today was pretty much a write off.. We were supposed to film with Baron Margo but it didn't pan out.. The idea hit to film a phone interview with Gary Coleman (Barry knows him).. But he didn't answer the phone and so the last idea was to film some crazy calls.. I wasn't sure who to pick but with it being late night in LA then someone in Oz would be perfect.. Speaking of perfect.. The gorgeous Emily Scott was our first target :)
Day 5 in LA - Tribute to Aussie Actor, Heath Ledger
I woke to the shattering News about Heath Ledger this morning... So many things rushed to mind.. I mean I hadn't seen him in a few years and to think there won't be a next time just blows me away.. He was such a special guy.. Inspiring to be around and this clip below is dedicated to a guy who's going to be sorely missed by many.
Day 6 in LA - Artist Robt Williams - Part 1
Another day another adventure... Well maybe I should be referring to the "nights".. I'm not seeing much during the days so far :).. This trip has a kind of Hunter S Thompson feel to it.. Especially when we end up at the Rainbow Room on Sunset.. Awesome to meet Robt Williams though.. This guy is a legendary artist and he invited Barry and I over to his house to film a chat.. Day 7 in LA - 25th Jan 2008
Well my cold really hit me today... There's a lot of people feeling crook over here.. It's an unusually cold and wet winter in LA so Murphy's Law from my end.. Last time I was here it was the worst heat wave in 30 years so at least I'm consistent :)... So after sniffling away and sleeping all day we jumped in the car and headed over to Orange County.. Bout a 45 min drive to hang out with the Chubbs Brothers.. A bunch of guys who loves their bikes, music and food.. We're off to San Fransisco tomorrow so that should be fun :)

I guess most great artists don't get their due respect until they're
long gone... I hope that's not the case with Baron.. This guy is just
amazing.. And inspiring.. And unique... And he's a cool dude too.. I
